Eames Lounge Chair

Eames Lounge Chair:   Released in 1956, the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman were the result of years of development by Charles and Ray Eames for the Herman Miller furniture company. They were interested in the use of molded plywood. According to the Herman Miller site, Charles Eames said he wanted to design a modern version of the lounge chair that had, “the warm receptive look of a well-used first baseman’s mitt.”

I don’t have one, but I think my drinks would taste better if I did. Donations accepted.
